M’hudi Training Center

Over the last two years, ISAW has formed a strong alliance with Malmsey and Diale Rangaka, the proprietors of the M’hudi Estate, the first black-owned vineyard in South Africa.  Understanding their role as a pioneering family, the Ranganka’s have formed an alliance with ISAW to develop an education center on their estate. The proposed center is a market-based training center focusing on developing knowledge in the value-added sectors of the wine industry, emphasizing sales, marketing, export, and hospitality. Moving blacks into these specialized sectors of the industry exponentially increases their earning potential and quality of life for members of their families and communities.
